Catching Largemouth Bass in Stardew Valley

In Stardew Valley, you can find Largemouth Bass in the mountain lake in all seasons from 6 AM to 7 PM. If you catch one, save one for Jodi's quest at 4 friendship hearts. Largemouth Bass can also be used for recipes, tailoring, and other quests.

   Largemouth Bass can be caught in the mountain lake, 6 AM to 7 PM, in all seasons. This fish is more likely to be caught the farther your bobber lands in the water. If you have the Wilderness Farm, you can catch this fish using your farm's lake.

   • Largemouth Bass may be found randomly in the Traveling Cart, in Garbage Cans, or gifted by Linus through the mail.
   • You can use Magic Bait to catch Sunfish in any weather, time, and season.

   Largemouth Bass is used in a few quests. Most notably, you'll need a Largemouth Bass for Jodi once you reach 4 hearts.

   • Other quests include requests at the "Help Wanted" board by Pierre's General Store and the Special Orders board outside of Lewis' house.
