While most WhatsApp groups require admin permission for others to join, there are many public groups that you can find as well. But how do you find these public groups? As long as you have the group's link, you can easily join it on WhatsApp. This wikiHow article shows you how to join a public WhatsApp group without an invitation with a few third-party apps and websites.

Joining a WhatsApp Group

If you're using an iOS device, open the App Store and install "Groups for WhatsApp".
There aren't a lot of options, if any, on the Google Play Store.
Search the internet for "WhatsApp group links" to find directories that list groups that you can join.

While there may not be stable links for websites that offer this directory service, you should be able to find WhatsApp groups by searching for them. You could search for "WhatsApp group links" or "WhatsApp group invite."

Try https://whatsgrouplink.com/. First, click a category, then click a group inside that category and finally click Join Chat to join the group on WhatsApp.
- Be careful clicking these groups because they aren't affiliated with WhatsApp and could instead turn out to be spam chats filled with scams.
- You can most likely access these websites from your iPhone or Android as well as a computer.

Groups for WhatsApp is an easy way to find public groups on WhatsApp without searching the web, but this app is only available for iOS and not on the Google Play Store. Groups are organized by category and joining a group is as easy as tapping “Join.” The app, however, is not affiliated with WhatsApp.
