    • Use this method to invite someone to chat with you on Messenger. If someone who doesn't have Messenger uses your invite link, they will be prompted to sign up and download the app.
    • This method works for Android, iPhone, and iPad. You can also follow these steps using the Messenger site on a computer.
  2. You'll see this three-line menu icon in the top left corner of your screen.

    • Your link will be copied to your clipboard.
  4. Paste the link anywhere, like in a chat on Discord or in an email, where others can see the link and click it.

    • The button will say "Add" if you're adding people to a group chat, and "Invite" if you're inviting friends to join a community chat.
  5. Select names under "Community members" or tap "Facebook friends" to see a list of suggested people to invite, including non-members of that community.
  6. It's in the top right corner of your screen.
    • This will say "Add" if you're adding someone to a group chat. You'll see "Send" if you're sending an invite to a community chat.[1]
