Do you want to find new groups to join on Facebook? Searching for Facebook groups is easy; you'll just need to navigate to the Groups tab to see recommended groups based on your interests and activity. You can also search for specific groups or interests. Here's how to find a group on Facebook using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

To find a group on Facebook, tap the menu icon and select Groups. Tap the magnifying glass to enter keywords or a group name, or tap Discover to find suggested groups. Tap a group's page, and tap Join group to send a join request.

Tap ☰ in the Facebook app. It's in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android). This prompts a pop-out menu.- If you haven't already downloaded the Facebook app and created an account, you'll need to do that before you can find a group. You can download Facebook from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Play Store (Android).

Tap Groups. You can find this tile in the area below your name. If you don't see it, tap See more to expand the options.[1]Advertisement -
Tap the magnifying glass. This is in the top-right corner. A search field will open. -
Enter keywords for your search. For example, you can enter "volleyball" if you're searching for groups that play or watch volleyball.- If you're looking for a specific group, type in the group's name instead.
- If you'd rather browse suggested groups, scroll down on the Groups main page to see all suggestions. You can also tap Discover at the top of the page.

Select a group. Tap the name of a group that you'd like to take a look at. This will allow you to see the group's cover photo and posts if it's a public group.- If the group is closed, you won't be able to view the posts.
- You cannot find a secret group without being invited by a group member.

Tap Join or Join group. This blue button is near the top of the page. Doing so will send a request to the group administrator.- To find a list of all your Facebook groups, tap the ☰ menu, tap Groups, and then tap Your Groups at the top. You will see your pinned groups, groups you manage, and other groups you're in.[2]

Leave a group (optional). If you decide you no longer want to be in a certain Facebook group, you can easily leave. Navigate to the group's page, and then tap the Joined drop-down menu. Select Leave group, and then tap Leave group again.
