Are you trying to get a Dipplin in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet? Dipplin is a new evolution of Applin that was added with The Teal Mask DLC, so as such, you must own the DLC before you can get Dipplin. Thankfully, getting Dipplin is easier than getting Appletun or Flapple, and in this article we'll go over all the steps to getting this cute new dragon apple Pokémon.

Catch an Applin by dashing into trees in various parts of Paldea.
Go to Mossfell Confluence in Kitakami, which is part of The Teal Mask DLC.
Purchase a Syrupy Apple for 500 Pokédollars.
Use the Syrupy Apple on Applin to evolve it into Dipplin.

Catch an Applin. Applin can be found a number of places around Paldea, though you likely won't find them wandering around on the ground. To reliably find an Applin, you must dash into trees in the areas where Applin can be found (and due to this, you must have unlocked dashing from the Stony Cliff Titan quest). In order to get a Dipplin, you must have The Teal Mask DLC, as the item you can purchase to evolve Applin into Dipplin is a DLC-exclusive.

In Mossfell Confluence you'll find a stand selling Syrupy Apples for 500 Pokédollars each. This is the item you need to evolve Applin into Dipplin.

Use the Syrupy Apple on your Applin to evolve it into Dipplin. There are no other requirements to getting a Dipplin other than using a Syrupy Apple, so you can evolve your Applin right away.
- Alternatively, you can sometimes find Dipplin in 4 Star Raid Battles in The Teal Mask DLC, though this may not be a reliable way to find a Dipplin due to their rarity.
