In Stardew Valley, it takes around 9 days to get Maple Syrup. You'll just need to craft a Tapper and tap a Maple Tree. Here's how to get Maple Syrup in Stardew Valley.
Things You Should Know
Steps
Tapping a Maple Tree
-
Craft a Tapper. You must have Foraging Level 3 to unlock the crafting recipe. Use 40 Wood and 2 Copper Bars to craft a Tapper.[3]
- Tapping a Maple Tree is the most reliable way to get Maple Syrup. However, you may also get Maple Syrup from processing Hardwood in a Wood Chipper (0.66% chance).
-
Place the Tapper on a Maple Tree. There are four types of regular trees that can be found around the town and your farm. The Maple Tree's silhouette looks like an oval with green leaves in the Spring, teal leaves with yellow dots in the Summer, and red-purple leaves in the Fall.[4]
- The Maple Tree looks similar to the Oak Tree, but Maple Trees have more visible branches underneath its leaves.

Wait 9 days to collect Maple Syrup. When the Maple Syrup is finished, you'll see the icon above the Tapper. It looks like an orange bottle with a stripe in the middle.[5]
- Once collected, you can leave the Tapper on the tree to produce more Maple Syrup. Make sure to collect it when it's finished for a steady supply.
- If you need a lot of Maple Syrup, consider crafting more Tappers to tap multiple trees at once.
