It shows a furry creature (most people call it a bear) with a large belly and a fish for a head. The creature is surrounded by mosquitos. The video quickly went viral, racking up over 300,000 likes on TikTok.

   The video with the cat-shrimp version of Trippi Troppi followed soon after. On February 24, 2025, TikToker @mrbrainrot420 posted this video that used the same sound effect but featured the cat-shrimp version of Trippi Troppi. The video currently has over 750,000 likes on TikTok.

   • One popular bit of lore says that the cat-shrimp Trippi Troppi was born from an accident involving tie-dye paint and hallucinogens.
   • Since then, both versions Trippi Troppi have continued to appear in Italian Brainrot memes, including videos that show both of them together, like this Zippy Animation cartoon that shows the pair as frenemies.

   Trippi Troppi is often associated with Trulimero Trulichina. Trulimero Trulichina is an Italian brainrot character with a fish body, cat head, and four human legs. The fish-shrimp version of Trippi Troppi is often confused with Trulimero Trulichina, but they’re different characters.

   • It’s said that Bombardiro Crocodilo dropped bombs near Trulimero Trulichina’s ocean home, resulting in its bizarre appearance.
