Keep your phone number private by deleting it from Facebook

Linking your phone number to Facebook can increase your account security. However, if you don't want your number attached to your account anymore, you can easily delete it. Here's how to remove your phone number on Facebook using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

  2. Tap Accounts Center.
  3. Tap Personal details.
  4. Tap Contact info.
  5. Select the phone number and tap Delete number.
