Tips

Linking your phone number to Facebook can increase your account security. However, if you don't want your number attached to your account anymore, you can easily delete it. Here's how to remove your phone number on Facebook using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.

Quick Steps

Tap ☰ and go to Settings & privacy > Settings.
Tap Accounts Center.
Tap Personal details.
Tap Contact info.
Select the phone number and tap Delete number.

Open the Facebook app. This looks like an f with a blue background.
- If you aren't already logged into your account, enter your email address or phone number and password to do so now.

Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in a web browser. You can use any browser.
- If you aren't already logged in, enter your email address or phone number and password to do so now.

Click your profile icon. This is in the top-right corner.
- A drop-down menu will open.
This is the first option underneath your name.
A new page will open.
You can find this in the left panel.
You can find this below the Account settings header.

Click the number you want to delete. If you have more than one, you'll see them listed by date added.
- You'll also see all added email addresses. You can also change your Facebook email if needed.

Click Delete number. You may be asked to enter your Facebook password to confirm.
- Your mobile number will be deleted from your Facebook account.
