If you keep getting texts from Facebook, you may be signed up to receive SMS notifications. This can be disabled by sending a text to Facebook's shortcode or by adjusting your notification settings in the mobile app or website. Turning Off Facebook SMS Notifications
To stop Facebook SMS texts, text STOP to 32665. This is Facebook's short code for most major carriers. Alternatively, go into your Notification settings on the mobile app to disable text notifications.

Open your text messages (SMS) app. You can send a text message to a special Facebook number to stop Facebook texts, even if you're not a Facebook member.

Type STOP as the message. This should be the only text in the message.

Send the text. You may be informed that the text could cost money. This is normal and is only letting you know that you'll be charged your normal texting rate for sending the message.

Wait for the response. You'll get a text response from a different number indicating that texts from Facebook have been turned off. You should no longer receive any Facebook texts for your mobile number.
