Linking Console to Fortnite

Do you play Fortnite on two different accounts and want to transfer items? Since Epic Games removed account merging, you'll only be able to link separate console accounts to your Epic account. Here's what you need to know about merging Fortnite accounts on PC, Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation.

Transferring Your Fortnite Account

You can no longer combine two existing Fortnite (Epic Games) accounts. However, you can link a separate Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch Fortnite account to your Epic Games account. This will transfer and merge account progress and skins.

No, you can't merge two PC Fortnite accounts together. Currently, there's no way to connect two separate Epic Games accounts. You can only connect a console account (XBox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch) to your Epic Games account.^{[1]

- Additionally, you can't transfer V-Bucks from one account to another. Once the funds are added to an account, it will stay linked to that account.

Linking Console to Fortnite

Go to https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/?lang=en-US in a web browser. If you play Fortnite on a console and on a computer, you can merge the two accounts together.
- You must already have an Epic Games account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one first.
This is in the top-right corner. This may also look like a person icon.
Make sure to use the correct email and password.

Click Apps and Accounts. This is in the left panel of the Account Settings page.
- If you don't see this page, click ☰ in the top-right corner. Click your profile icon, and then select Account.

Click Connect next to your console. You may need to scroll down to find it.
- If you're connecting a LEGO account, select Connect next to LEGO Account.

Click Connect Account. You should see a pop-up with your Epic Games account email.
- Make sure the email address is correct.
You'll need to use your PlayStation, Microsoft, or Nintendo account to log in.

Click Continue. This will connect your console account to your Epic Games account.
- Once connected, your account progress will be merged including skins and other cosmetics.
