Do you want to redeem a gift card for Fortnite? Whether you're playing on console or PC, you'll need to use the Epic Games website to get your V-Bucks. If you don't have an Epic Games account, you'll need to make one and link it to your console. Here's how to redeem a Fortnite gift card on your computer, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch.

Quick Steps

  1. Log into https://www.fortnite.com/vbuckscard.
  2. Enter the code on the back of the gift card.
  3. Select your platform.
  4. Click Confirm.
  5. If using a console, enter the secondary code on the console's website.
  1. Go to https://www.fortnite.com/vbuckscard in a web browser. Since there's no option to redeem Fortnite V-Bucks within the game, you must use the official Epic Games website.
    • You can use a mobile or desktop browser.
    • If you purchased V-Bucks directly, they should automatically be added to the account you used to purchase.[1]
  2. This is the yellow button in the center of the screen.

  3. If you don't have an Epic Games account, or you've been playing as a nameless account on console, you'll need to create one.
    • Double-check your account name and make sure it's accurate. You won't be able to refund any redeemed cards.
  4. The code is on the back of the V-Bucks card. Use a coin to scratch off the security covering.
  5. You'll see a list of all devices linked to your Epic Games account. Make sure to select the proper platform.
    • If you don't see your console, you'll need to link it first.
  6. If you play on PC, Nintendo Switch, or mobile, the funds will be added to your account. You can now purchase skins and other items from the Shop.
    • If you play on Xbox or PlayStation, you'll receive a secondary code.
      • Log into the Microsoft or PlayStation website with the account linked to your Epic Games account.
      • Navigate to the Redeem Code (PlayStation) or Redeem (Xbox) section.
      • Enter the secondary code.
