Where are the best places you've traveled to so far?
I've made it one my new goals to travel as much as I can and really explore this world I call home! Problem is, I just have no idea where to even start. I have my own list of places that I want to go and I know "best" places can depend on who you're asking, but what are some locations that really WOWED you? If you have a favorite place you've visited, I'm completely open to suggestions. Brownie points if you include some fun things to do there!

My favorite place I've ever visited was Patagonia, which is the region that's on the southernmost tip of South America that spans across Chile and Argentina. That was my first big solo trip. It has a special place in my heart, and I've sent clients on solo trips there as well. I just loved it because it felt like really raw nature. And I love trips like that are immersed in nature, where I can go hiking. There are still a ton of really beautiful resorts and hotels that are high-end as well, so it's a nice mix, depending on your budget. If you want to be a backpacker there, you can. If you want to stay in a five-star luxury resort and have a spa treatment every evening, you can. It was a really unique place with the most gorgeous landscapes.

I love going to the Caribbean, and in particular I love a Caribbean cruise. The Eastern Caribbean cruise ports give more of that classic Caribbean, beautiful beaches, crystal waters.
Turks and Caicos is a beautiful island. They have beaches and family-friendly all-inclusive resorts that are just amazing for families to visit.
Another trip I took last year that I loved was a seven-night Mediterranean cruise. It sailed from Rome and it was just such an easy, fun way to explore multiple destinations. I think we hit five cities on the cruise within seven days! We explored places like Pompeii, Pisa, Barcelona, and more. But the best part is, you only unpack once! Once you're on the ship, you have somewhere familiar to go back to.
Finally, if anybody's looking for the must-do destinations in Europe, I would say you have to get Venice and Rome on your list. We were able to see and do a lot and they really are easy to navigate, even if you don't speak Italian. So those are really cool places to visit, too.

I love visiting major tourist cities like Paris—they're popular for a reason. However, I also especially enjoy going off the beaten path. In France and Italy, exploring wine country or smaller towns is amazing. One of my favorite places in the world is Verona, Italy. Beyond cities like Rome and Florence, those Tuscan countryside towns are incredible. In Mexico, Tulum was a standout for me. It’s less commercial than Cancun and absolutely beautiful.

My most recent international travel was Vietnam and Thailand, and I loved both of those locations! Food was super cheap (for an American), delicious, and readily available. People were nice and it was easy to walk places.

That sounds like an incredible goal! One destination that truly impressed me was Kyoto, Japan. The mix of history, culture, and nature is remarkable. Walking through the Fushimi Inari Shrine’s torii gates is an unforgettable experience, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is stunning.
Another destination that stands out is Iceland. Driving the Ring Road offers breathtaking landscapes—glaciers, black sand beaches, waterfalls, and even the chance to see the Northern Lights. It’s a completely unique experience.

I've been fortunate to travel to some amazing places! One of my favorites so far is Antigua, Guatemala – the colonial architecture, volcano views, and vibrant culture made it such a memorable experience. I also loved exploring New York City for its energy and endless things to do. What about you? Any hidden gems you'd recommend?

I have visited 30 countries, mostly European countries. My favourite country is Sweden, but the most extraordinary place I met is not here.
In 2017 I travelled around Holland in great detail, and my favourite place is the North Sea coast on the island of Texel. That's where the final scene of the film ‘Reach for Heaven’ was filmed, by the way.
Sand dunes, blue sea water, endless happy people on the beach, cosy cafes, illuminated cycle paths and endless tulip fields in the open.

There are so many amazing places to travel around the world! I would take some time to think about what interests you the most - do you love learning about history? Do you love architecture? Do you want big cities and bright lights? Or do you prefer a chill, beachy vibe? That will help you decide on places you should put on your bucketlist! For me, I loved Edinburgh in Scotland because of the history, architecture and general vibes, but I also love Bangkok because it's so different to what I grew up with and love the hustle and bustle!

If you are someone who loves nature, consider doing a road trip where you can hit a bunch of national parks across the US! The Yellowstone area has a lot to do and multiple parks to explore. I just did a trip in that area last summer and had so much fun.

I've traveled to a lot of countries in Asia and have had great experiences all around, but my favorite country was Japan! There was so much delicious food, beautiful sights, and interesting cultural experiences that made my trip really memorable. I had a lot fun playing at arcades and visiting different themed cafes.

I've been lucky enough to explore a lot of the USA and travel internationally, and there are amazing spots all around the globe. If I had to list some of my favorite places to visit domestically, it's hard to beat the views at the Grand Canyon, the beaches in Maui, or all the culture in New York City.
If I had to pick the best spots outside the US, I really loved traveling through Europe, especially places like Paris, London, Rome, and Amsterdam. If you want to experience some completely different cultures, Thailand or Japan have both been incredible experiences learning about other parts of the world.
