Section 3 of 7:

Using the myCricket App (Android Only)

Open the myCricket App on your Android. This method only works if you meet the unlocking requirements and have an Android phone. You don't need an account to proceed.
- If you are using an iPhone, skip to the iPhone section.
- If you're using a Cricket or Motorola-branded device launched in 2025 or later, skip to the Cricket Device Unlock section.

Sign out if you're signed in. You won't see the option to unlock your phone if you are signed in.

  - You can buy codes online, but be careful since some of these codes can be expired, not work, or brick your phone. Cricket may also prevent your phone from unlocking if it suspects fraudulent activity.

Remove your current SIM and reinsert a new one. Your current SIM is locked to Cricket, so that's why you're removing it. You should have a new SIM from another carrier, and inserting it will put you on that network instead.
- Turn your phone back on.
