Find out who has accepted, declined, or ignored your invitation

This wikiHow guide teaches you how to check if your friends have seen the event invitations you've sent them on Facebook and how they responded using a web browser on a computer. While you can no longer see if someone has seen the event invite, you can find out whether they've RSVPed as Going, Maybe, or Can't Go by viewing the guest list.

How to Tell If Someone Has Seen Your Facebook Event

It used to be that people who viewed the event invite but haven't yet responded were labeled "Seen" on the "Invited" list. This feature has been removed; you can no longer see who viewed the invite. You can, however, see if someone responded by viewing the guest list.

Can I see if someone viewed my Facebook event invite?

  1. It used to be possible to see whether someone you invited to an event had seen the invite, even if they hadn't responded yet. At some point in 2023, Facebook removed this feature. While you can't see if someone viewed the event anymore, you can still see whether they're going, are interested, or can't go as long as they've RSVPed.
    • It can be easy to miss an event invitation. If your friend hasn't RSVP'd to an event yet, you might want to message them to let them know you've invited them.

  1. If you're using a computer, you'll usually see this option in the left panel.
    • If you don't see the Events option, click See More at the bottom of the EXPLORE menu.
    • If you're not automatically logged into Facebook on your browser, enter your email or phone and your password to log in.
  2. A list of options will expand below. You'll also see the events you're going to, and have been invited to, in the right panel.
  3. Click any event in the right panel, or click Hosting in the left panel to view only the events you're hosting.
  4. At the bottom-right, you'll see the count of attendees who've marked themselves as Going, Maybe, or Can't Go.[1]
    • Click See all, then click Going to see who RSVP'd that they are going to the event.
    • Click Maybe or Interested to see if they've selected one of those options.
    • Click the Invited tab to see who was invited but hasn't yet responded to the invitation. Note—this is where you used to be able to see whether invitees had seen the invitation.
    • Click Can't Go (if it's a private event) to see who won't be able to attend.
