    • If you don't see the option to "Say something," the event host has not permitted you to create posts on the event. This may be because you haven't yet marked yourself as going to the event. To mark yourself as attending, scroll back up to the top of the event and tap Going.

Tips

  • If it's important that people vote on the poll as soon as possible, consider sending a message to your friends to let them know about it. Just scroll down and tap the Message Friends button just below the guest list, select who to write, type your message, and then tap Send.
  • If the poll option is not available in your app or region, you may be able to create a poll on your profile or in your story and share that with your friends.
  • As of May 2021, Facebook does not include the option to set an end date for the poll. However, this feature may return in the future.
