Things You Should Know
- To summon the Eye of Cthulhu, have at least 200 max Health and 10 defense, 4 town NPCS, and wait until 7:30 PM in-game.
- To force-summon it, craft a Suspicious Looking Eye with 6 Lens at a Demon Altar or Crimson Altar.
- Use the Suspicious Looking Eye after 7:30 PM in-game.
Steps
-
Obtain a Suspicious Looking Eye. This consumable item can be found in Gold or Frozen Chests in the Cavern and Dungeon, and Ivy Chest in the Underground Jungle biome.
- You can also use a Demon Altar or Crimson Altar to craft a Suspicious Looking Eye with 6 Lens.
-
Use the Suspicious Looking Eye at night. Night begins at 7:30 PM (in-game).[1]
- You'll see the message "You feel an evil presence watching you…"
- You can now fight and defeat the Eye of Cthulhu.
