Do you still have old unused accounts on your Instagram sign-in screen? Instagram remembers the accounts you log in to on your phone or tablet, but they make it pretty easy to delete accounts you no longer need. This wikiHow article will teach you the right way to remove remembered Instagram accounts from your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android, plus how to make your phone stop suggesting the old username and password when you sign in.

Open the Instagram app. This looks like a camera icon with a multicolored background. If you're logged into your account, you'll see your feed.- If you're not logged into an account and you see the login screen, tap the cog icon in the top-right corner. Select the account to remove, and then tap Remove account.

Switch to the account you want to remove. If you're signed in with multiple Instagram accounts and want to stop remembering one of them, double-tap your profile icon at the bottom-right until the profile you want to remove is active.[1]Advertisement -

Scroll down and tap Log out. This is at the very bottom in red.- A pop-up window will open with all your current accounts.

Toggle offthe account you want to remove. When you log out, Instagram has the option to save your login information to iCloud for the next time you log in. When this option is toggled off, your information won't be saved.

Tap Log out. You'll be signed out of your account and the information will be removed.

Go to https://www.instagram.com/. You can use any browser.- If you're already logged into an account, click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Log Out.

Click Remove Account. This will be underneath your saved login.- If you don't see Continue as [username], your information has not been saved on the Instagram website.

Click Remove. This will remove your remembered account and return you to the login screen.

- Removing the Instagram account from Keychain will also ensure that the password is no longer suggested in Safari when you're using your Mac.
