    • If you're logged into the account on your phone that you want to delete, you can use it to get to the mobile browser and delete it. In the search bar, type "Delete" and tap the search result for "How do I delete my Instagram account?" Tap the link that says "the Delete Your Account page" and follow the on-screen instructions to delete your account.[1]

To do so, follow these steps:[3]
      • Open the Instagram app and enter the last email address or phone number you remember using with your account.
      • Tap Forgot password? or Get help logging in.
    • Select Need more help?
      • Follow the prompts to submit a request for help restoring access to your account.
    • If this doesn't help, you can try reporting your account as a fake account to have it deleted indirectly.
