Do you want to level up in Fisch quickly? Do you wish you could play the game while you do other things? Luckily, you can automate the fishing process using a macro. This wikiHow article teaches you how to set up and use macros in the Roblox game Fisch.
Using Macros in Fisch
Using macros in Fisch is a way to automate the gameplay process using scripts. This allows you to fish and gather resources while away from the keyboard. AutoHotKey (v1.1) is the program used to run the macros. You can then download specific script files (i.e., Fisch Macro v12) to run in AutoHotKey.
Steps
Downloading AutoHotKey and the Script
-
Download and install AutoHotkey. AutoHotkey is the program used to automate tasks in Fisch. It is free to download and open-source. You'll want to download version 1.1 (deprecated). Even though this is the older version, it is the most stable for Fisch. Use the following steps to download and install AutoHotkey:
- Go to AutoHotKey's official website.
- Click Download.
- Click Download v1.1 (deprecated).
- Open the installation file in your Downloads folder
- Click Yes when prompted.
- Click Express Installation.
-
Download Fisch Macro V12. This is the latest version of Fisch Macro. There are other macros available for download that do other tasks. Use the following steps to download Fisch Macro V12:
- Go to the official download site.
- Click Download next to "Fisch Macro v12 with Config (New Updated)."
- Download any additional macros you may want to use.

Extract the contents of the ZIP file to a permanent location. You will likely download a zip file called "Feb 8". Extract the contents of this folder to a permanent location (such as your Documents folder). You'll want to keep it in this location after extracting it, as AutoHotKey can sometimes have a hard time finding scripts once they are moved.
Setting the Proper Settings
-
Change your display settings. The macro needs a specific display resolution in order to function correctly. If you have a high-resolution monitor, you may need to change your display settings before launching the game and running the macro. Use the following steps to change your display settings:
- Click the Windows Start menu.
- Click the Gear/Settings icon.
- Click System.
- Click Display.
- Set the Scale to 100%.
- Set the Display Resolution to 1920 x 1080 (optional, but recommended if you want to read your screen).
-
Open Fisch in Roblox. Go to the Fisch page on Roblox and click the play button to launch Fisch in the Roblox player.
- Make sure you have the Roblox player installed and that you are playing with the Roblox player.
-
Open the Settings menu. To do so, click the Roblox square icon in the upper-left corner and then click the Settings tab.
-
Ensure your Roblox settings are set properly. You need to make sure the settings are properly set in order for the script to function. Check the following settings and make sure they are set correctly:[1]
- Make sure UI Navigation Toggle is turned on (this is important).
- Turn Fullscreen off (again, this is important).
- Turn Shift Lock Switch off.
-
Note your navigation key. While you are in the settings menu, check the text below "UI Navigation Toggle." Note which key it tells you to press to toggle UI navigation on and off. For most people, it will be the "/" key, but it may be different on your game. Note if it is different.
-
Ensure your Fisch settings are set properly. You'll also need to make sure the settings for your Fisch game are set properly. To do so, click Menu at the top of the game. Then ensure the following settings are set properly:
- Turn High Brightness off.
- Turn High Contrast off.
- Turn Performance mode on.
Setting Up the Macro

Run the macro file. You can do so while the game is playing. Open the "Feb 8" folder wherever you extracted it. Locate the "V12 - Feb 8" AutoHotKey file. Double-click it. This will open a configuration menu for the macro.
