Since you can't log out of Messenger with the app itself, you'll need to use the Facebook app to sign out remotely. You can also uninstall Messenger completely. Here's how to log out of Facebook Messenger on iPhone or iPad.

  2. Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Accounts Center.
  3. Tap Password and security.
  4. Tap Where you're logged in.
  5. Tap Select devices to log out.
