   • Take a long, hot bubble bath to relax your entire body after a long day.
   • Play some calming music and do abdominal breathing to relax your mind.
   • Meditate throughout the day to ground yourself when things get hectic.

   You’ve had too much caffeine. One of the leading medical causes of a lip twitch is that you’ve had too many cups of Joe. Drinking a lot of coffee, soda, and other caffeinated beverages can cause caffeine intoxication, which includes symptoms of muscle twitching, restlessness, flushed cheeks, and an upset stomach.

   • Tone down your caffeine intake to stop your lip twitch. Doctors recommend drinking no more than 400 milligrams (mg) a day, which is roughly 4 cups of coffee and 10 cans of soda.
