This wikiHow teaches you how to invite a friend to Clubhouse, the iPhone-only audio chat app. Since Clubhouse is still in its beginning stages, new users can't join unless they are invited by current members. Once you invite a friend, all they'll need to do is download the Clubhouse app and provide their phone number to set up their own account.

Open the Clubhouse app on your iPhone. The app's icon changes often, but it's usually a photograph of a person. You'll find it on your home screen or in your app library. -
Tap the envelope icon. It's in the toolbar that runs along the top of Clubhouse.Advertisement -
Search for the person you want to invite. You'll see a list of your contacts who haven't yet been invited to Clubhouse, along with how many of their contacts are already using the app. You'll also see how many invitations you can send at the top of the screen. Search your contacts using the search bar, or scroll down until you find the person you want to invite.- Everyone who joins Clubhouse gets one invitation just for joining.[1] Clubhouse may add more invitations to your account based on your activity.

Tap Invite on the person you want to invite. This adds the selected person's phone number to Clubhouse's invite system and creates a new text message to that person with further instructions. Tap the Send button to send the text message. It's the blue-and-white arrow at the bottom-right corner of the message. Now your friend can join Clubhouse!- When your friend is ready to sign up, they'll just need to download the Clubhouse app from the App Store and sign in. Once they provide their phone number, they'll be able to create their profile and start chatting on Clubhouse.
