Snapscore is calculated using the number of Snaps sent/received, Story posts, and other hidden factors. It can indicate how active someone is on Snapchat. You can see your Snapscore on your profile. Increase your score by sending Snaps and posting Stories.

Send more Snaps. Sending Snap pictures and videos will increase your Snapchat score. Plus, receiving a Snap back will further increase the score!
- Sending the same Snap to multiple friends won’t count for additional points.
Posting Snaps to your Story will increase your score. Getting into a regular habit of posting will gradually raise it.
Adding friends on Snapchat means more people to exchange Snaps with, generating an even higher score.
Since your Snapscore increases whenever you send or receive Snaps, starting and keeping streaks is the best way to build your score consistently over time. If you want to build up your score fast, start streaks with multiple friends.

Navigate to the Chat page in Snapchat. Tap the Chat icon in the bottom menu bar to go to the Chat page.
- You must be friends with someone to see their Snapscore.
- If you have Snapchat+, you can see how much your friend's Snapscore has changed since the last time you checked it.^{[3]
