In Terraria, wings are an accessory that allow your character to fly. But how exactly do you get these wings? There are a number of wings currently available in the game, and they're obtained in various ways: crafting, boss drops, and more. Getting Wings in Terraria

To get wings, you can either craft them, get them as boss drops, purchase them from merchants, or get them as a quest reward. The first pair of wings you'll likely get are the Fledgling Wings, which are given to all new Journey Mode characters.

   Wings are obtained in a few ways. You can craft them, obtain them from bosses, purchase them, get them as a quest reward, or obtain them from treasure bags in Expert Mode. The first pair of wings you'll likely get is the Fledgling Wings, which are given to new Journey Mode characters. For a full list of all the wings in Terraria and how to get them, reference the table in this article.

   • Most craftable wings require 20 Souls of Flight, along with another item that changes depending on the wing type. Sometimes this might be enemy loot that has no other use (like Giant Harpy Feathers) or materials that represent a new stage of the game (like Shroomite Bars).
   • Most craftable wings are made at the Hardmode Anvil, though the four lunar wings (Solar Wings, Vortex Booster, Nebula Mantle, and Stardust Wings) are made at the Ancient Manipulator.
   • You can only wear one pair of wings at a time.
   • Wings can be used in water, but you get the same movement speed penalty.
   • Wings can be used with other accessories. You can stack wings with any balloon, any Rocket Boot, the Werewolf buff, the Frog Leg and its upgrades, and Soaring Insignia.
