There are two different ways to get verified on Roblox. If you're a creator, developer, or public figure, you can get a verification badge (a blue checkmark) if you meet the notability criteria. If you want to sell plugins on the Creator Store, verify your age for voice chat, but you're not a brand or figure, you can verify your age using your government ID or phone number, depending on your needs. Read on to learn the easiest ways to get verified on Roblox.

To get a verification badge, you must meet the notability requirements, provide ID, and use an authenticator app. Apply for your badge through your Roblox partnership contact. To verify a Roblox account for age-restricted content, you can do so in Settings using your phone number or ID.

  1. If you're a creator, developer, public figure, or notable group, you can apply for a Roblox verification badge as long as you meet the requirements. Once you're verified, a blue checkmark will appear next to your name in the Marketplace, on your profile, on item and experience details pages, and in search.[1] Use the chart below to see if you qualify for a Roblox verification badge.

Brands & Figures (companies, celebrities, musicians, politicians, etc.) ▼100K+ followers on at least one major social media platform (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, FB, YouTube) or 100K+ monthly listeners on Spotify.

▼Or, you are part of the Video Stars program.

Experience Developers ▼You are an owner of an experience with playtime exceeding 1M hours in the last 90 days.

▼Or, you are a contributor to such an experience and have at least 10K legitimate followers on Roblox. A legitimate follower is someone who appears to be a real user, as opposed to a bot.

Creators of Avatar Items ▼ You (or your group) have at least 2M Robux in revenue for the last 90 days with at least 200K items sold.
  2. If you meet the notability requirements, you'll also need to verify your identity by providing ID. It's the same process as verifying your age on Roblox, which requires a government-issued ID and a mobile device that you can use to take your picture.[2] See this method to learn how.

  3. To get a blue checkmark, you'll need to have been using an authenticator on the Roblox platform for 180 days. An authenticator is an app on your phone that provides you a code each time you sign in to Roblox. You can use apps like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo, or Twilio Authy.
    • Find if you have an authenticator active by going to Account Settings > Security on the Roblox website.[3]
  4. If you meet all the requirements, contact your Roblox partnership contact to get your verification badge.
    • Roblox only gives out verification badges once per month, so it can take a while to get one even after you've applied.
    • The requirements for the verified badge on Roblox sometimes change, so refer to https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/7997207259156-Verified-Badge-FAQ for up-to-date information.
