High Quality Pal Oil is an important crafting material in Palworld, but how exactly do you get it? There are three ways to get this Pal Oil: buying it from a merchant, obtaining it as a drop after defeating or capturing a Pal, or by farming it with Dumud. In this article, we go over all the ways to get High Quality Pal Oil and what crafting recipes require this material.

Getting High Quality Pal Oil

The easiest way to get High Quality Pal Oil is to buy it from Red Coat Merchants in Duneshelter and Fishernan's Point, but this gets expensive. You can also get it by capturing or killing various Pals, like Quivern, Relaxaurus, Mammorest, Digtoise, and more. Dumud can also farm it in a Ranch.

Defeating or capturing Pals A number of Pals can drop High Quality Pal Oil when they're defeated or captured.^{[2]

- Quivern: Quivern can be found in the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary (north of Mount Obsidian) and around central Sakurajima (the island in the northwest part of the Palpagos Islands).^{[3]

  Research source} They are passive and peaceful, but Alpha Quivern are aggressive.
- Quivern Botan: Quivern Botan can be found in grassy areas in Sakurajima.^{[5]

- Digtoise: Digtoise can be found in the Twilight Dunes (in the northwest part of the map, near the Anubis boss) and in the Dessicated Desert (in the northeast part of the map).^{[22]
