What are the best compliments you can give to a guy?

Truth is I've never really had a bf before, but I have a huuuuge crush on this one guy in my class. I'm a little bit awkward and tbh have never been that good at flirting, but I really want him to know that I'm interested so he doesn't get away. I'm not trying to scare him away, so what are some good compliments that I can tell him in text or in person to make him into me too?

The best thing to do to compliment a guy over text is make him feel masculine by showing some admiration. So for instance, if he does something really good, you tell him "Oh, it's really awesome how you did that" or like, "Not a lot of people will do that." The most attractive thing that a girl can do is actually boost his ego and make him feel better about himself. So a little bit of admiration goes such a long way, especially when you say things like, "You're so strong" or "I love how many sports you play" or "I like how smart you are."

If you want to lay it on kind of thick you can compliment him about his appearance like "That shirt looks so hot on you" or "You look cute today" and say it all flirty and hopefully he will get the message that you like him

When you get to know him better, try out compliments that speak to how he makes you feel. Compliments like "I always feel so safe around you" or "You make me feel so taken care of" can make a guy feel recognized and awesome. But you mentioned that this is just a guy in your class, so wait a while to try out these kinds of compliments. They don't make sense if you don't know each other that well.

Try compliments that allow you to initiate some physical touch, like "Your hair looks soo soft, can I touch it?" or "Wow your notes are so detailed, can I take a look?" and then get close when you look over his shoulder or brush your fingers against his when he hands you his notebook. Adding in an element of physical touch takes things up a notch and makes it a little more obvious that you're flirting.
