  1. You don’t necessarily need to get into the specifics of what makes a guy attractive to you—just let him know that his looks have caught your attention. These casual compliments can start a really nice conversation:[3]

“Have you been working out? You look good.”

  1. He’ll absolutely love you admiring his physique. Point out how sexy his arms look in the t-shirt he’s wearing, compliment his abs the next time he takes off his shirt, or tell him how perfectly his jeans have been fitting lately. Try one of these compliments:
    • “I see you’ve been going to the gym, handsome.”
    • “Your arms look great.”
    • “Looks like that work you’ve been putting in the gym has been paying off.”

  1. A beautiful guy with beautiful hair deserves to know that he’s appreciated. Best of all, a compliment about a [5] guy’s hair is a pretty casual way of letting them know that you like how he looks. Any one of these compliments is a great option:
    • “Your haircut looks great on you!”
    • “I really like how you’ve been growing out your hair.”
    • “Your new haircut has you looking like such a snack.”

  1. Using a pick-up line can show the cutie you’ve got your eye on that not only are you into him and his looks, but you’ve also got a personality of your own. If your guy has a good sense of humor, he’ll love one of these classic pick-up lines:[8]
    • “Are you an artist? You’re so good at drawing me in.”
    • “If you were a taser, you’d be set to ‘stun.’”
    • “I believe that honesty is the best policy, so to be completely honest, you’re the sexiest man I’ve ever seen.”

Truth is I've never really had a bf before, but I have a huuuuge crush on this one guy in my class. I'm a little bit awkward and tbh have never been that good at flirting, but I really want him to know that I'm interested so he doesn't get away. I'm not trying to scare him away, so what are some good compliments that I can tell him in text or in person to make him into me too?

The best thing to do to compliment a guy over text is make him feel masculine by showing some admiration. So for instance, if he does something really good, you tell him "Oh, it's really awesome how you did that" or like, "Not a lot of people will do that." The most attractive thing that a girl can do is actually boost his ego and make him feel better about himself. So a little bit of admiration goes such a long way, especially when you say things like, "You're so strong" or "I love how many sports you play" or "I like how smart you are."

If you want to lay it on kind of thick you can compliment him about his appearance like "That shirt looks so hot on you" or "You look cute today" and say it all flirty and hopefully he will get the message that you like him
