It's okay to text your ex after they break up with you, as long as your goal is to either get closure or set up a conversation evaluating what's left of your relationship. Just remember—they're your ex for a reason. No matter how true your feelings may have been, it usually doesn't serve you to go back to an ex. Chances are they'll always see you as the version of yourself that you were when they decided to end things, and that's not good for your healing journey.

Yeah But It also depends with the issue that happened either if it was big or small. But definitely ok!

Have you ever gotten back with an ex? Is it a bad idea?
My ex and I broke up a little less than a year ago. It was tough but we both moved on and have been on good terms since then, but lately we have been flirting more and I'm entertaining the idea of asking her out again. Is this a bad idea? I know getting back with an ex is not always wise but how do you know when you both just need a second chance to get things right? Would love to hear from people who did this and how it turned out.

Can you really be friends with your ex?
So my ex gf recently hit me up (we broke up 3 months ago) and we got drinks just as friends, and it was nice...but I'm wondering if it's really possible to be just friends with an ex? I'm not going to pretend there weren't still some lingering feelings, but will those fade over time? Anyone successfully stay friends with an ex? If so how?

Trying to fix it with my ex
My ex-girlfriend broke things off about 8 months ago. She gave me some reasons that really didn't make much sense to me very generalized. I think she thought I was seeing someone else. I WAS NOT. For the first few months I made things only worse by texting her and telling her my feelings for her. Our relationship was about 1 year and it was good we really had no problems until then. It's now been about 30 days no contact and I want to slowly try to build her attraction back with me. Any advice is appreciated

Will I get my ex back?
My ex and I were together for 7 months. We were great together and had a lot of fun. I was broken up with very abruptly because they are questioning sexuality. After we broke up we went for a week without seeing each other but still messaging back and forth. After that week we actually spent an entire week together and it felt like nothing changed and we acted like we were still together. Then one of us had to leave for work. The first week during this we talked in the phone and sent messages back and forth. However, my ex then called for no-contact and has since blocked me on all social media. Is there a chance we get back together?

Should you block your ex on social media?
So, my ex and I broke up a few weeks ago, and it was amicable and we both want to be in each other's lives, but I'm having a really hard time with it still. Social media makes it even worse because I get daily reminders that we're not together anymore. I don't want to hurt her feelings by unfollowing or blocking her. But what do I do here? I want to heal from the breakup without being bombarded with her posts. Any tips are helpful. (Please don't say "just stay off social media" lol be real)
