Looking to build yourself the all-powerful Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts 2—and track down all seven pieces of Orichalcum+ in the process? We can help! Orichalcum+ is super rare in the game, which is why there are only seven pieces in all. You can find them as long as you’re thorough. In this easy player guide, we’ll show you how to obtain every piece of Orichalcum+ in Kingdom Hearts 2, whether you’re playing the original version on the PlayStation 2 or the 2.5 ReMIX version on PlayStation 3 or 4.
A Quick Guide to Finding All 7 Orichalcum+
- Complete Atlantica’s “A New Day is Dawning” minigame.
- Find every Torn Page for the 100 Acre Wood and clear each area.
- Gather one of every synthesis item and give them to a Moogle.
- Open a chest on Sunset Terrace, in the Twilight Town.
- Open a chest in The Brink of Despair, left of the bridge that leads to The Castle That Never Was.
- Open the Space Paranoids chest in the Central Computer Mesa area.
- Complete the Goddess of Fate Cup (a 10-round tournament).

Community Q&A

QuestionHow do you get to the manifest illusion in the Cave of Remembrance?Community AnswerYou need Valor Form's High Jump (Maybe Level 2, but definitely works at Level 3) and Master Form's Aerial Dodge/Double Jump (Level 1 works fine). Just time the second jump right and Sora should grab the ledge, that is if you're jumping from the next room's door platform.
-
QuestionWhat Moogle level do we need to be at?Patrick FalconCommunity AnswerLevel 6, Artisan Moogle. That is the level at which you can apply Bright and Energy materials to S-Rank recipes.

QuestionI cant seem to find the seventh one. I've been to the bridge, I've found the chest you are talking about, but I have no clue were the last one is. I've opened both chests and have done every other thing down to the letter and got the stuff, it's just this last one, what do I do?Patrick FalconCommunity AnswerMake sure you've cleared both 100 Acre Wood and Atlantica, grab the three chests from Twilight Town, Space Paranoids, and The World That Never Was; beat the Goddess of Fate Cup, and turn in one of every material to the Moogles.

Tips
-
Open every chest you can find! As long as you do this, you should naturally find three of the seven Orichalcum+, as well as the Torn Pages necessary for completing the 100 Acre Wood’s episodes. Thanks
-
Try equipping the Lucky Lucky ability, which increases the drop rate of items and should help you gather synthesis items faster. The earlier you start building your synthesis collection, the less work you’ll have to do when you finally make gathering Orichalcum+ a priority. Thanks
-
You can also equip the Sweet Memories Keyblade when you want to farm items since it has the Lucky Lucky ability attached to it. If you have Lucky Rings, equip them as well. However, if you’re playing the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS3 or PS4, Sweet Memories won’t have Lucky Lucky attached. Thanks
