Furla bags are a huge hit in the designer market right now—since they're both fashion-forward and timeless, they're a great investment for your wardrobe. Buying an imitation can be frustrating, and counterfeit products are illegal in most parts of the world. Thankfully, there are a few ways you can double-check the authenticity of your bag before you buy it. If you still aren’t sure, try taking the bag to a retailer to have it checked professionally.

Look for a large dust bag.

Start giving it a sniff! Real leather has a distinct, natural smell, often earthy or rich, which comes from the animal hide. Fake leather, on the other hand, either has no scent or smells more like chemicals or plastic. Next, check the underside and take note that real leather has a rough, fibrous base that feels slightly rugged, like the underside of genuine skin. While faux leather has a fabric-like or a smooth base that doesn't have texture. The last thing you want to look at is the grain pattern. Real leather has some imperfections, like an uneven grain or some subtle variations. While fake leather appears overly perfect with uniform patterns.
