Are you trying to breed a Strombonin in My Singing Monsters? Strombonin is a Mythical monster that was first added to the game in September 2022. With a little patience and perseverance, you can add this monster to your collection.
Breeding a Strombonin in My Singing Monsters
To get a Strombonin, the best combination is to breed a Spunge and a Bowgart. You'll need to breed these two monsters on Cold Island for a chance at getting a Strombonin. To increase your chances of getting a Strombonin, light Wishing Torches around your Breeding Structure.
Steps
-
Obtain some parent monsters. The best parents to breed a Strombonin are a Spunge and a Bowgart.[1] This is also the best combination if you're trying to breed a Rare Strombonin unless you already have a Strombonin.[2]
- Note that this combo can also breed a Rare Spunge, Rare Bowgart, Rare Potbelly, or Rare Toe Jammer. If you're just trying to get a regular Strombonin, make sure to breed outside of a Rare breeding window.
-
Level the parents to level 4. Monsters must be at least level 4 to breed, so level up your parent monsters if they're not already at least level 4.[3]Advertisement
-
Upgrade your Breeding Structures if you wish. While not necessary, you can upgrade your Breeding Structures to reduce breeding times by 25%. You can upgrade your structure by spending 25 diamonds.
- You can also add Wishing Torches around your Breeding Structure to help increase the odds of a rare monster being bred.[4] Wishing Torches can be lit for 24 hours by paying 2 diamonds or be lit permanently by paying 100 diamonds.
-
Breed the parent monsters on Cold Island. Once you're ready to breed your monsters, put them in the Breeding Structure. A Strombonin egg is turquoise with blue scales and pink shells on it, similar in aesthetic to a Strombonin.[5]
- To get a Rare Strombonin, you'll need to wait until a breeding window opens up. There are some promotions and events where all Rares of a certain element are available.[6]
-
Wait for your Strombonin to hatch. By default, a Strombonin egg takes 23 hours to hatch. However, if you've got enhanced Breeding Structures, it will hatch in 17 hours and 15 minutes.
