If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, you can easily add page numbers online and on the desktop app. You can also add page numbers to a PDF for free using Adobe Acrobat Online or a freemium PDF editor called Smallpdf.

- Log in to acrobat.adobe.com.
- Go to Edit > Number pages.

Go to https://acrobat.adobe.com/ in a web browser. You can use any web browser on your Windows PC, Mac, Chromebook, or Linux computer. If you don't subscribe to the premium version of Acrobat, you can still add page numbers to your PDF using Adobe Acrobat Online in your web browser. You will just need to sign in with your Adobe account.
- If you don't have an account, you'll be prompted to create one.
- If you are not signed in automatically, sign in with the username and password associated with your Adobe ID.
