Has the Lock Screen wallpaper on your iPhone suddenly turned black? This is a frustrating issue, especially since there are a few methods to try and fix it. However, we've gathered all of these methods in this article, so keep reading to learn how to fix a black Lock Screen. Fixing a Black Lock Screen

Try restarting or updating your phone as a first step to fix the black Lock Screen.
Switch between Lock Screens, or replace your Lock Screen wallpaper.
Disable Always On Display and/or StandBy to fix the black Lock Screen.

Restart Your Device

Turn your iPhone off, then back on again. Restarting your phone can fix a lot of problems, including random glitches that might be affecting your Lock Screen. To turn off your iPhone, you'll either need to press and hold the side/top button and volume button (for phones without a Home button) or just the side/top button (for phones with a Home button).
- Once the phone is off, press the side/top button for a few seconds until the Apple logo shows up on the screen.
