If your iPhone is flashing the Apple logo and not booting, it could be caused by water damage, hardware issues, software issues, issues while updating, or jailbreaking. Make sure your iPhone is fully charged. Start by performing a forced restart. If that doesn't work, try updating your iPhone using iTunes or the Finder on Mac. Then try to perform a system restore via iTunes or your Mac. If all else fails, you will need to have your iPhone repaired or replaced.

If your iPhone has an extremely low battery, it may start to boot up and then shut off before fully booting. Connect your iPhone to a charger and let it charge for an hour or more. Then try to power it back on.

- Open iTunes on Windows or macOS 10.14 Mojave or earlier. On macOS 10.15 Catalina or later, open the Finder instead.
- Put your iPhone in recovery mode. This process is very similar to force restarting your iPhone. Use one of the following steps to put your iPhone in recovery mode:
  - iPhone 8 and above: Press the Volume Up button, followed by the Volume Down button. Then press and hold the Side/Sleep button until you see the recovery screen appear.
