You can easily revoke a Discord ban anywhere you sign in to Discord, whether you're using the desktop app, mobile app, or logging in on the web. This wikiHow article teaches you how to unban someone on Discord on your computer, Android, or iPhone. If you were banned from a Discord server, there are a few ways to get unbanned.

Things You Should Know

Only server admins can unban users from servers.
On your PC or Mac, right-click the server and go to "Bans > User > Revoke Ban."
On mobile, tap the server, then tap the three-dot menu. Next, tap the gear icon and "Bans > User > Unban."

Open Discord. Click the app icon that looks like a controller on a light blue background in your Start menu or Applications folder.
- You need to be a server admin to unban and ban users.
You'll see icons of all the servers you've joined displayed vertically on the left-hand side of your screen.

This gear icon is in the middle of your screen and will open the "Server Settings" window.

Are bans on Discord permanent? Not necessarily. Server bans are from server admins, and you can appeal the admins to request getting unbanned. If your account is banned, anyone from your IP address cannot join that server.
- However, there are system-wide bands from the Discord Trust & Safety team that will make it so you can't use the platform at all.

What happens if you ban someone on Discord? That person can no longer send or receive messages in that server.^{[4]

How do I get unbanned? You can't really get unbanned until the server admin decides to unban you. You can reach out to that person and apologize for your behavior to get unbanned.
