Tiling a picture in Microsoft Word is helpful when you want to create art and newsletters, or when you want to feature a watermark or logo in the background of important documents. To tile a picture in Word, you must insert an image as a fill effect.

Things You Should Know

  • Navigate to "Design" > "Page Color" > "Fill Effects" to begin tiling an image.
  • Click on the "Picture" tab and click "Select Picture" to find and insert your desired image.
  • Click "OK" after the preview to see your image tiled in the background of the Word doc.
