5 Quick & Easy Ways to Take a Screenshot with an iPhone

This wikiHow teaches you how to capture an image of everything that's on your iPhone's screen. The steps to take a screenshot are a bit different depending on your model of iPhone, but it always involves pressing two buttons at the same time. If you are unable to use the buttons on your iPhone for any reason, you can try AssistiveTouch or Back Tap to take a screenshot with just one finger, or you can use Siri.

Ways to Screenshot on an iPhone

Use the side button and volume up button if your iPhone doesn't have a Home Button.
Press the Home Button and side button if your iPhone does have a Home Button.
Activate Siri and say "Take a screenshot."
Enable AssistiveTouch and add the screenshot function to the top level menu.
Enable Back Tap and set the screenshot function to the Double or Triple Tap.

Using Back Tap

Back Tap is the last option on the menu.

- Once you've picked an option, you can close the Settings app. The option you choose will save automatically.

- If you have a case on your phone, you may need to tap a bit harder. Cases might also interfere with the tapping gesture, and you might need to tap a few times until your phone can tell you're doing a Back Tap gesture.
