Understand how you can split payments on Amazon with multiple cards
PDF download Download Article

Do you need to use a certain card for partial payment on your Amazon order? If you have two separate cards you want to use for a purchase, you won't be able to pay the traditional way. Amazon only accepts split payments between a credit/debit card and an Amazon gift card.[1] To bypass these limitations, you can purchase an eGift Card with one payment method and use it to pay along with the other payment method. This wikiHow will show you how to split payments with accepted payment methods on Amazon.

Things You Should Know

  • Split payments can only be done between a credit/debit card and an Amazon gift card.[2]
  • Use one payment method to buy an Amazon eGift card, then apply it to your Amazon balance.
  • When you check out, click "Use balance" to apply your gift card, then pay the remaining balance using your other payment method.
