How to Find and Sync Contacts on Instagram

Calling all Instagram newcomers! If you're looking to follow your friends on Instagram, syncing your Android or iPhone contacts is a great place to start. This wikiHow will teach you how to find your contacts on Instagram.

Open Instagram. On your device, go to the Instagram app.
- This method will work for the Instagram app on any mobile device.

Go to your profile. Once in the Instagram app, you will see an icon of your profile photo in the bottom right corner of the screen. Tap on this icon to access your profile.
- If you haven't set a profile photo yet, you will see an icon of a person in the bottom right corner of the app instead. Click on this icon to go to your profile.

You will find this icon at the top right corner of your profile. This action will pull up a menu of options.
From the menu, click on the settings option listed at the top.
This action will take you to a list of options related to your account settings.
In this section, you will be able to toggle on contacts syncing.

Turn on connect contacts. Click on the toggle to turn on syncing contacts. This will connect your device's contacts to your Instagram account.^{[1]
