Strawberry iced tea is a delicious variation on plain iced tea, especially suitable for strawberry lovers. Crave your sweet tooth while calming down.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Green tea
  • Lemon juice
  • Honey, stevia or coconut sugar
  • Mint
  • Ice
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Milk for end (optional)
  1. Add the 1/3 (or more) cup of sugar and the lemon juice. Stir thoroughly to dissolve the sugar. Test to see if it requires additional sweetening or lemon juice and adjust accordingly.

  3. Puree the remaining strawberries. Push the puree through a fine-sieve to remove pips, etc. Press on the mixture with the back of a wooden spoon.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for at least a half hour to chill.
  5. Add crushed ice to the base of an ice tea glass. Pour in a serve of strawberry iced tea per glass. Add several strawberries (whole or sliced) to the side of the glass as a garnish. Add a straw.

    Put your tea bags in big bowl of boiling water for 15 minutes. Add cinnamon and apple juice and let it cool and infuse the flavors for 8 hours. Pour this into a jug and add apple and lemon slices with crushed ice and mint leaves and serve.
