Things You Should Know

To make Gruel in Conan Exiles, use 5 plant fiber, 1 seed, and some fuel at a campfire.
You can unlock campfires at level 3 and collect plant fiber and seeds from plants.
Gruel spoils pretty quickly, so it works best as fuel for your thralls.

You get the ability to craft a campfire at level 3, but you can also make gruel in a bonfire, charcoal kiln, large campfire, spit roast campfire, or Yamatai hearth.
You'll need these two ingredients to make gruel, and you can get them both from interacting with plants.^{[1]

You must use another fuel source, such as wood; otherwise your campfire will use your fiber as fuel.
This will be at the top of the campfire menu. Your campfire will then convert the 5 plant fiber and 1 seed into 10 gruel.
