How to Get Unbanned from Bumble

Are you seeing the "You've been blocked" message when trying to sign into Bumble? Bumble bans are permanent—if you've violated Bumble's community guidelines, you won't be able to get your account back. But what if you didn't do anything wrong? This wikiHow article will teach you how to find out why you were banned by Bumble, and how to get your account back if you were banned in error.

Bumble blocks profiles that violate their community guidelines. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may or may not receive a warning before you're permanently banned from the app. Some activities that can result in a ban:^{[1]

- Recruiting or soliciting for adult entertainment.

- Rude or disrespectful behavior, including hate speech, body shaming, racism, misogyny, sexual harassment, bullying, and disrespecting boundaries.
- Doing anything illegal.
- Using Bumble to promote your social media accounts or non-Bumble projects.
- Spamming, which includes sending the same message to everyone you match with—Bumble will think you are a bot.

If you believe Bumble banned your account incorrectly, reach out to Bumble's support team. Visit https://bumble.com/help-search#contact-us in a web browser and fill out the form to create a support ticket. Let Bumble know the reason why you believe your account was banned in error and attach any proof to support your claim.

While getting unbanned is rare, Bumble might reactivate your account in some situations. If you violated Bumble's policies, their decision is final. However, sometimes other peoples' shady actions can result in you being banned. If you think any of these situations apply to you, be sure to provide details when contacting Bumble:
- You recently got a used phone or phone number that was connected to a banned account.
- Your account, phone, or computer is compromised.

You might be able to create a new account, but it's risky. When Bumble permanently bans you from their service, the ban is attached to all of your identifying information, including your phone number, email address, payment method, IP address, linked Facebook account, and photos. Unless you create a new account using all different information, including a new phone number and all new photos, you'll likely be banned again shortly after creating your account.
- Reddit users who've been banned by Bumble suggest that Bumble uses facial recognition to detect banned users. This means that even if your photos are different from the ones you were using at the time you were banned, they can still be linked to your old photos.
