This wikiHow will show you how to get Rock Smash in Pokémon FireRed. In order to get to One Island, you'll need to defeat the Cinnabar Island gym. You'll also need to have Surf to cross the deep water to get to Ember Spa.

One Island only unlocks once you defeat the Cinnabar Island gym. You can get to the island by boarding a ship.

Continue heading north through the tall grass to another sandy area. Keep walking north until you see a cave opening.
You'll see "Ember Spa" in the upper left corner of your screen. Follow the path north, then climb a set of stairs, then head east to a man between two waterfalls.
He'll give you HM06, Rock Smash. Rock Smash will smash small crumbling boulders in your way.

To obtain the vital HM06 Rock Smash in FireRed, head to Kindle Road on One Island and surf across the water to find a small cave called Ember Spa. Inside, toward the back of the hot springs, you'll discover an elderly man willing to teach one Pokemon this handy new skill. With Rock Smash, smashable rocks blocking your path will be no obstacle at all!
