It's less about what you write and more about the photos you choose. A picture speaks a thousand words so you can get more matches by making sure your primary photo uses the 3 Cs (color, context, character) and I'll add a 4th C (it's current!)

My other tip is to keep it positive. Sometimes we lead with things we don't want or pre-amble about how we wish we could meet someone off of dating apps and that is just a bummer and wastes vital character count. Lead with your most magnetic qualities, the things that make you unique, and aim for quality connections over quantity of matches.

What does a good dating profile look like for a guy?
I think I’m a relatively attractive guy with some decent things going for me. I have a good job, a car etc. I know I’m not Ryan Gosling, but it still feels like I’m just not getting the matches I should be on Tinder, Bumble, or Hinge. I’ve asked a few of my guy friends to review my profile and they all say it’s fine, but they’re not exactly crushing the dating game either, so I’m not totally sure I can trust them on this one. I’d love to get some ideas from the ladies out there—what are you looking for when you’re browsing the dating apps? What do you want to see in the perfect guy’s bio? What is it about a profile that makes you go, “He’s a catch”? What kinds of photos are you looking for? Any and all advice is deeply appreciated!

Tinder hacks that actually work to get more matches
I've (24yo man) been on the apps for 4 years now and it's been mostly frustrating. I feel like I spend hours on Tinder every week and only ever actually get a few dates a YEAR from it! What am I doing wrong? I have revamped my profile so many times over the years and I feel like it just isn't working. I know some people who have used Tinder Gold and seem to like it but I'm hesitant to take the plunge. Is it worth it? I'm not sure what else can I do to get more matches.

What are the best hinge prompts in your personal experience?
Guys, is it like, impossible to get matches recently on Hinge? I (23m) thought I had some good responses to my prompts but I've been having zero luck finding someone on this app so maybe it's time to refresh the profile. Any reccs on what prompts have worked the best for you? Are there any that I should absolutely avoid??
