  1. The Lightning Thief
  2. The Sea of Monsters
  3. The Titan’s Curse
  4. The Battle of the Labyrinth
  5. The Last Olympian
  6. The Chalice of the Gods
  7. Wrath of the Triple Goddess

Rick Riordan's series The Heroes of Olympus references Percy Jackson, though he doesn't appear in the books directly. Here's the reading order:
  1. The Lost Hero
  2. The Son of Neptune
  3. The Mark of Athena
  4. The House of Hades
  5. The Blood of Olympus

Characters from both Percy Jackson & The Olympians and The Heroes of Olympus, including Percy, appear in Riordan's The Trials of Apollo series. Here's how to read those books in order:
  1. The Hidden Oracle
  2. The Dark Prophecy
  3. The Burning Maze
  4. The Tyrant's Tomb

Calling all Rick Riordan fans! Let's settle the great Percy vs. Jason debate once and for all.

In case you need a refresher, Perseus 'Percy' Jackson is protagonist of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Percy is a Greek demigod and the son of Poseidon (the Greek god of the sea) and Sally Jackson. He was trained to fight by Chiron at Camp Half Blood. Percy can manipulate water and currents, can breathe underwater, has enhanced strength and senses when near water, and can communicate with sea animals. His primary weapon is the shape-shifting sword, Riptide.

Jason Grace is the protagonist in The Heroes of Olympus. Jason is a Roman demigod and the son of Jupiter (the Roman god of the sky and thunder) and Ms. Grace. He was trained to fight by Lupa at the Wolf House of Camp Jupiter. He can generate lightning and manipuate weather as well as air spirits. His weapons include the legendary sword, Gladius, as well as Ivlivs, a golden coin that turns to a sword on 'heads' and a javelin on 'tails.'

Recs for fantasy books for teens?
I'm dying for a new, absorbing fantasy YA read to get sucked into. What are your favorite fantasy reads?? Series is preferable, but standalone books also welcome!

I love Harry Potter, R.F Kuang's Poppy Wars, His Dark Materials, etc. I just finished Naomi Novik's Spinning Silver and loved it so I'm craving another fantasy/folktale with romance elements if possible!
