Permanently remove channels on Discord mobile

Is there a text or voice channel you want to delete on Discord? If you're the server owner or you have admin permission, you can easily get rid of it. Here's how to delete a Discord channel on Android.

Quick Steps

  1. Navigate to a server and tap a channel.
  2. Tap the channel name at the top.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Channel.
  5. Tap Yes to confirm.

  4. This will be next to a hashtag.
  5. This is the cog icon.
  6. This is at the very bottom of the page.
    • If you don't see this option, or if it's grayed out, you don't have the proper permissions. You'll need to ask the server owner or an admin with proper permissions.
  7. This is the red button. The channel will be deleted, along with any messages within that channel.
