First, figure out if you have a postpaid (you pay once a month for the previous month of usage; also known as a Monthly account) or a prepaid (you pay in advance) account. Then, you can figure out how to find your account number easily. This wikiHow article shows you how to find your AT&T account number online, on your bill, and by calling.

Things You Should Know

If you have a postpaid account, find your account number on your bill or in your AT&T Profile settings online.
If you have a prepaid account, call "611" from your AT&T phone for your account number.
If you don't have your AT&T phone handy, call "800-901-9878."

Go to your AT&T Profile and sign in. Click My linked accounts and your account number will be listed there.
You'll see your account number printed in the top right corner of your monthly bill next to "Account number."^{[1]
