As a Cash Card owner, you can use your card from Cash App to withdraw money at any ATM. While Cash App does charge an unavoidable $2.50 transaction fee, several in-network ATMs will not charge extra withdrawal fees. This wikiHow article provides a full rundown of where Cash Card owners can withdraw from ATMs for free, tips for avoiding Cash App's ATM fees, and how to use Cash App's free ATM finder.
Free Cash App ATMs
- Cash App charges a $2.50 transaction fee for all ATM withdrawals, but in-network ATMs will not charge a fee on top of that.
- Cash App doesn't say which ATMs are in-network, but users have gotten free withdrawals from MoneyPass, Allpoint, and PULSE ATMs.
- Cash App's ATM fee will be reimbursed immediately if you get at least $300 in paycheck direct deposits per month.
Steps
Setting Up Direct Deposits
-
Tap the Money tab in Cash App. It's the tab in the bottom left corner of your screen. The icon looks sort of like a house, or three lines with a triangle on top.
-
Tap Direct deposit. You'll only be able to progress further if you have a Cash Card. If you don't have a Cash Card, you can't withdraw money from Cash App at an ATM.
- To get a Cash Card, tap the Get your free card button on the direct deposit page and follow the prompts on the screen.
-
Tap Create a pre-filled form. This will create a direct deposit form that you can fill out with your and your employer's information so you can set up direct deposit.
-
Fill out the required information. Cash App will fill out some of the information (such as your account and routing numbers), but you must fill out the rest of the form. Here's the info you'll need to provide:
- Your information
- Your employer's information
- How much money you want deposited from each paycheck into Cash App
- Your signature
-
Confirm your email. Once you confirm, the finished direct deposit form will be available for download. Once you download the form, you can provide it to your employer's payroll department to set up direct deposit into your Cash App account.[3]
- If your employer needs Cash App's address, provide the following: Block Inc., c/o Sutton Bank, 1 S. Main St, Attica, OH 44807
