I'm in unrequited love too. It's been 22 months now and it's not getting any better. It's so painful and I feel overwhelmed and I'm scared because my feelings are so intense for him. He said he would be there to help me by driving me to mass and then we could sit next to each other in the pew but then he said no to those 2 things that were helping me. He won't drive me anywhere because he doesn't feel comfortable doing that or calling to ask if I will be at the 4:30p Mass where he chants. He has also lied to me and betrayed me by breaking a promise he made to me. I talked to a psychiatrist and a therapist and they said they don't know how long I'm going to have to suffer so terribly like this. Since you and me have no control over our situations I know the sooner I stop loving him and caring for him the sooner my pain will end. I keep asking God when is he going to take me from this life because swallowing this bitter pill everyday is like living in hell. I hope your time in your torture chambers ends tomorrow if possible.
